We met at Fordham, where an easy friendship took hold during our senior year. In New York’s quiet days of 2020, that friendship grew as our pod spent late nights in each other’s apartments and sitting outside at restaurants.

By the summer of 2021, though, when Kyle still hadn’t made a move, Caroline was ready to move on. Before she could, Kyle finally realized he couldn’t imagine life without her — even if it took a little extra persistence (and one politely rejected first date invitation) to convince her.

What began as a natural connection and took a bit of patience on both parts has become a lasting love, filled with laughter and the people who mean the most to us.
